Thompson and Morgan Buddleja Blue Chip Plant in Pot 3L

Buddleja 'Blue Chip' is a delightful dwarf shrub, perfect for smaller gardens. Its neat, compact habit makes it ideal for filling gaps in mixed borders or brightening up patios in containers. Unlike traditional varieties, 'Blue Chip' stays small and doesn't self-seed, remaining exactly where you plant it. Throughout summer, it's covered in dense clusters of blue flowers, irresistible to bees and butterflies, making it perfect for wildlife or cottage gardens. This hardy, resilient shrub thrives in most conditions, tolerating poor soil, dry or exposed sites as well as sheltered spots. Plant in garden borders in any moist, well-drained garden soil, in full sun or partial shade. Alternatively, grow in patio containers using soil-based compost such as John Innes No.3. Feed and water container-grown plants regularly. Buddlejas planted directly into borders need only occasional attention. In spring, prune Buddleja plants back to a low framework of 3 or 4 buds from the base.
