The Abutilon megapotamicum Red Trumpet Patio Standard is an exotic semi-evergreen shrub, expertly trained into a standard form, ideal for adding a touch of elegance to conservatories or sheltered patios. Throughout summer and autumn, arching stems display unique, pendant, red trumpet-shaped flowers, resembling delicate fairy lanterns. Reaching a height of 150cm, this trailing Abutilon thrives in bright, indirect light and consistently moist soil, avoiding waterlogging. During the growing season, feed every two to three weeks with a balanced liquid fertiliser and mist the foliage regularly to maintain moderate humidity.
