The Agapanthus 'Brilliant Blue' Plant Pot will transform your space with its stunning blue flowers, living up to its name. The foliage dies back in winter, returning in spring whilst steadily spreading further. These plants also make excellent cut flowers. Grow Agapanthus plants in rich, fertile, well-drained soil, in a sunny position. When growing Agapanthus in patio containers, use a soil-based compost, such as John Innes No.3. Feed and water Agapanthus regularly throughout the growing season. Leave faded Agapanthus flower stems intact to enjoy their architectural seed heads during autumn. When the first frost blackens the seed heads, cut the stems back to ground level. Protect plants outdoors from severe winter weather by providing a dry mulch of bark chips or straw in late autumn.
