Product Description
Goji Berry ‘Synthia’ is a hardy shrub that offers both delicious taste and numerous health benefits. These plants are packed with vitamins and antioxidants, and the ‘Synthia’ variety boasts higher sugar levels for an even sweeter flavour. Exceptionally resilient, these shrubs tolerate drought, strong winds, shade, and even thrive in challenging coastal gardens. For optimal harvests, cultivate against a wall or fence, or train onto a trellis or obelisk. Begin by potting the plants and nurturing them in frost-free conditions until they are robust enough for outdoor planting. Prior to transplanting, gradually acclimatise the goji berry plants to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days. Plant in any well-drained soil, ensuring they receive full sun. When growing in patio containers, use a soil-based compost such as John Innes No.3. Water regularly until fully established; thereafter, they become drought-tolerant and adapt well to poorer soil conditions. These plants benefit from winter protection during their initial two years, but as they mature, they exhibit increasing hardiness, withstanding temperatures as low as -15°C (5°F). Prune in winter or early spring, removing any damaged or overcrowded growth and shaping the stems to fit the available space.Product Specifications:.Position: Full sun.Height: Up to 200cm.Spread: Up to 200cm.Supplied as: 1 x 9cm Pot.Please note: Images are for illustrative purposes only, showing expected results upon maturity.
