Half-hardy annual with beautiful two-tone petals forming water-lily-shaped flowers Adds a truly unusual splash of colour in borders and containers Pale blush-pink upper petals reveal rich deep crème de cassis undersides creating a dramatic two-tone effect that looks different from every angle. The densely packed petals are very pale pink when viewed from above but their undersides are a rich ‘crème de cassis’ colour The smaller petals at the centre of the flower which have yet to unfurl give the appearance of a darker-coloured centre Looking almost like a water lily Dahlia ‘Crème de Cassis’ makes a fabulous cut flower so try putting some in a vase or give a bunch to a friend Long flowering season – Blooms continuously from June right through to the first frosts ensuring months of standout colour.
