Château Méaume is one of our most popular Bordeaux wines, and this exclusive, exciting release has been created to celebrate the winery's partnership with Majestic for over 45 years. Bordeaux is one of the world’s most renowned and historic wine-producing regions, and this wine is from vineyards near Pomerol and Saint‑Émilion, bringing you outstanding quality Bordeaux at great value. This is also a ‘supérieur’, meaning it’s a step up from your average bottle. It's made with grapes from lower-yielding vines and is aged in oak for at least a year, bringing you more complexity and intensity of flavour. Château Méaume is owned by a British couple, Alan and Sue Johnson-Hill, who were guests at the opening of the first-ever Majestic store in 1980. Today, the winemaking is in the hands of their son, Mark, who took over on this vintage in 2019. Together, they uphold the family tradition of respecting land and vine, keeping sustainability at the heart of production.
