Product Description

Warrant's Ultraphobic is the musical equivalent of a bad case of bed head - messy, unkempt, and in desperate need of some serious styling. This album reeks of a band desperately trying to stay relevant in a music scene that has long since passed them by. From the cheesy lyrics to the generic guitar riffs, Ultraphobic is a textbook example of how not to make a rock album in the late 90s. It's as if Warrant looked at the success of grunge and alternative rock and thought, "Hey, let's try that!" Unfortunately, their attempt falls flat, leaving listeners cringing at the outdated production and lacklustre performances. Tracks like "Family Picnic" and "Followed" sound like they were ripped straight from a bargain bin at a suburban record store, while the ballads "Bed of Roses" and "Stronger Now" lack the emotional depth or musical innovation to truly resonate with listeners. And don't even get us started on the cover of The Beatles' "I Saw Red" - a cringe-worthy misstep that should have never seen the light of day. Overall, Ultraphobic is a forgettable and ultimately disposable entry in Warrant's discography. If you're looking for a trip down memory lane to the heyday of hair metal, you're better off dusting off your old Motley Crue records. Ultraphobic is a misfire of epic proportions that should be left in the dustbin of rock history.
