Product Description

FEED THE RHINO's latest album, "The Sorrow And The Sound," is like a slap in the face from a drunken rhinoceros - intense, unpredictable, and a bit messy. The British hardcore outfit has been pummeling eardrums for years, and this record is no exception. From the opening track, "Give Up," to the closing anthem, "Deny and Defy," FEED THE RHINO delivers a non-stop barrage of gut-punching riffs and guttural screams. This is not music for the faint of heart, but for those who like their music loud, heavy, and in your face. Despite its ferocious sound, "The Sorrow And The Sound" also showcases the band's maturation as songwriters. Tracks like "Behind the Pride" and "Completion" demonstrate a more nuanced approach to melody and structure, without sacrificing any of the raw energy for which FEED THE RHINO is known. However, the album also has its missteps. The ballad "Lost Within" feels out of place among the chaos, and some of the lyrics can veer into cliché territory. But overall, "The Sorrow And The Sound" is a solid addition to the band's discography, and a reminder that FEED THE RHINO is still one of the most exciting acts in the UK hardcore scene. So put on your steel-toed boots, crank up the volume, and let FEED THE RHINO feed your ears with the sweet, sweet sound of sorrow. It may not be pretty, but it sure is a hell of a good time.
