Colours can be blended together with a slightly wetted paintbrush, and overall washes can create vivid ink like translucency and colour. Inktense pencils are permanent once dry, so other media can be used over the top of your work to create a multitude of effects, and a non soluble outliner is also available that is not affected by water for further effects.
