Faber-Castell PITT Artist Pens Use Pigmented India Inks Which Are Extremely Lightfast, Smudge Proof And Waterproof When Dry. They Are Also Acid-free And Archival. This Is A Faber Castell PITT Artist Brush Pen In The Colour Dark Cadmium Yellow. It Has A Brush-tip Which Can Be Used To Make A Variety Of Marks, From Wide And Sinuous Sweeps To Light Flicks And Stipples. The Tip Is Slightly Firmer And Less Flexible Than A Regular Faber Castell Pitt Soft Brush Pen. The Width Of The Mark Depends On The Pressure With Which The Pen Is Used And The Angle At Which The Brush Is Applied To The Paper. If The Pen Is Held Perpendicular To The Surface (or As Near As Is Comfortable) And Used With A Small Amount Of Downward Pressure, A Fine Line Will Be Created. If The Brush Pressed Firmly Down And Held At A More Acute Angle, So That The Belly Of The Brush-head Is Touching The Paper, A Thicker Line Will Be Made. It Is Possible To Draw Long Lines Which Vary In Width By Varying The Pressure On The Brush Tip.
