Departure to Mount Etna (North side) , the highest active volcano in Europe. Transportation by Bus GT. Excursion with local multilanguage guide. During the trip, approximately one-hour drive, the guide will entertain you with an in-depth historical-geological and volcanological explanation of Etna and you will see different types of vegetation such as: citrus groves, vineyards, chestnut groves and pine forests. Arrival at Piano Provenzana (North side - 1900 meters) . You will have approximately three hours available in which you can explore the surroundings independently with a soft trek. Possibility of reaching the maximum altitude allowed by the relevant authorities in the summit area, currently set at 2.900 meters, which can be reached by 4x4 minibus.
