Designed to keep the heat of the turbo away from the rest of the engine, this wraps around the turbo and keeps the heat in. The flexible design means that it can accommodate a range of popular turbos, however, these blankets are application specific to ensure the best fitment for their most effective use.Forge built this to stand up to the demands of motorsport and it's extremely well made. The outer is carbon fabric. The core is made of calcium magnesium silicate wool with a silica fabric inner liner. The inner surface can stand temperatures up to a maximum of 1370° Celcius for short periods of time and sustained temperatures of 1000 degrees depending on the application.The fabric used is flexible (until it is cured by heat) so this will potentially fit a wide range of applications. Once fitted, the heat from the turbo will cure it into shape and Forge doesn't recommend removing it.
