Tsum Valley and Manaslu Trek

This valley was restricted for foreigners until 2008. Traditionally this valley used to be a separate area different from both Tibet and Nepal. This trek is still less popular among the tourist because of the fact that it has not been a long time since this area is opened. The interesting fact about this valley is that all the brothers in the family get married to a single girl. The Tsum Valley and the Manaslu area has many of the mountains, passes, deep gorges, hamlets, gompas, chortens and mani walls in a large extent than in other areas.
