There are Flex grooves on the front of the foot which offers enhanced levels of flex whilst walking, and the Primer offers an excellent spongey underfoot feel for all-day comfort.For rider safety, an Open Cell PU Foam Ankle disc protector has been included, and there is an CE-certified TPU full length plate for protection and improved comfort. There is a highly abrasion resistant layer in the gear shift area for enhanced durability and a dual compound rubber sole which has been engineered to provide high levels of abrasion resistance. On the Shoes, the outsole has an asymmetrical stud configuration which provides excellent levels of grip and high abrasion resistance.For rider comfort, the Shoes have an Open Cell PU removable Ortholite technical in sock for easy step in and enhanced comfort, along with an Open Cell PU Polyurethane compound being used to ensure high levels of breathability, reducing overheating. The shoes have a lightweight inner bootie which has a minimal construction design for comfort, and the tongue has a bellow construction which has been designed to remain in position when riding.Additional features include an internal EVA patch material between the outer and inner materials which reduces pressure on the foot in gear shift area for optimal comfort, and an oil resistant dual rubber compound for optimised grip on unclean/slippery surfaces
