An evolution of the popular 71 series range of seats the Kirkey 81 Series 20 degree layback containment seat is designed for circuit racing, kit cars and club racing, and is a fantastic upgrade to your standard or economy seat. Offering maximum value for your money the high backed aluminum seat features a 20º layback and is available in various widths to suit different driver sizes. A unique 3 piece design allows the shoulder and back to adjust by 2.5" (63.5mm) vertically with the head restraint adding a further 0.75" (19mm) of vetical adjustment. MIG welded from .100"and .190" thick 5052 grade aluminum Designed to accommodate all head and neck restraint systems Shoulder / back are adjustable 2-1/2"(63.5mm) vertically. Reinforced head and shoulders for additional support. Energy absorbing impact padding on head restraint. Head support designed for easy entry and exit from race car. Built in reinforced shoulder restraints. Designed to accommodate all 5 or 6 point seat belts. Moulded rubber inserts for all seat belt openings.The vertical adjustment of the Kirkey 81 Series standard layback containment seat makes it ideal for drivers of varying heights as it allows for optimum support and comfort. The seat is supplied complete with a removable black cloth cover which features a contoured high density foam padding in the base for improved comfort and inner thigh support. The seat is a modular 3 piece design and is supplied un-assembled.
