Making smooth shifting incredibly ease, the Multi Release that these Shimano shifters boast means that you can change multiple gears with one fell swoop, making shifting super quick, while the 2-Way release design means that the upper level still performs the same shift function but it can now swing in either direction allowing it to be released by the thumb or index finger.
