The Shimano Deore XT M8020 11 Speed Front Derailleur has been designed specifically with modern trail bikes in ming. It has side pull cable routing and uses the Shimano XT side swing technology. This increases the tyre clearance by 15mm and ensures you get light shifting actions with minimal effort. This derailleur has been designed to be used with Dyna-Sys11 drivetrains to deliver smooth gear changes. The reinforced chain guide is exceptionally lightweight and it adds rigidity and delivers improved response. This front derailleur is compatible with virtually any mountain bike as it has four different mounting options. There's an E-Type option, direct mount, or if your bike has a band-on design you can choose from the low or high clamp options. Both of these clamp options come with shims to cater for any band dimension. The wider pivot link on this front mech increases the torsionally rigidity, and the angled adjustment screws and clamp bolt make it really easy to install. This specific derailleur is for chainsets with an outer ring of 34 to 38T and it has been specifically developed for 68 and 73 mm bottom bracket shells with a 48.8 mm chain line.
