The Shimano Deore XT RD-M786 Design Rear Derailleurgives more space around the rear frame dropout resulting in easier wheel movement. This extra space also allows frame designers to shorten chainstays, increase axle sizes and move suspension pivots. The RD-M786 has a direct mount to give your bike a simpler, cleaner look. The derailleur has been designed to deliver reliable, precise shifting with a stiff, lightweight open design. Shimano have used their Shadow technology to give the derailleur a super low profile to reduce the risk of damage. Shadow uses a chain stabilising switch that will reduce chain bounce in rough terrain so you can maintain more stable drive. This rear derailleur has direct cable routing to prevent any snagging from any trail side hazards. Constructed from aluminium alloy, the RD-M786 is extremely lightweight without sacrificing any strength or durability.
