Sachs Performance Clutch / Lightweight Flywheel Kit - Replaces DMF - Organic Drive Plate - 392 lb/ft Torque Rating

These clutch and flywheel kits from Sachs are designed as a direct replacement for DMF (dual mass flywheel) applications. DMF's are prone to failure with tuned engines which is why Sachs produced this high performance upgrade. The flywheel included in the kit is a single mass flywheel (SMF) made from steel and is up to 60% lighter than the original flywheel to give much better engine response and increased acceleration. The SMF steel flywheel is also much stronger than a DMF and can cope with engine speeds of up to 12,000 rpm.The clutch part of this kit includes a high performance pressure plate with a higher clamping force and a sprung centre drive plate with either an uprated organic or sintered material face which allows the clutch to withstand much higher torque figures.
