Pirelli P7 Corsa Classic Tyre - 225/45 R16, D7 Compound

This exciting tarmac rally tyre from Pirelli follows on from the original and groundbreaking P7 rally tyre developed in the 1970's. The P7 Corsa Classic incorporates two tread designs in one. A semi slick outer for outstanding grip and control in dry conditions and an inner tread block pattern for damp or wet conditions. This unique tread ensures maximum performance in all weather conditions.The P7 Corsa Classics sidewall imitates the style from the original but has a double set of size markings which allows it to comply with approvals for use on road sections.The size range of the Pirelli P7 Corsa Classic is aimed squarely at the awesome Group 4 and Group B cars from the late 70's to mid 80's which use 13", 15", 16" or 17" diameter rims up to 11" wide. Some of the fitments available include: Audi Quattro, Fiat 131 Abarth, Lancia Stratos, Lancia Rally 037, Lancia Delta S4, Opel Ascona / Manta 400 and Porsche 911.Available in a range of compounds to suit various stage conditions. D3 - A harder compound well suited to dry conditions and medium or abrasive road surfaces (working temp 70-120 Deg C) D5 - A Medium compound suitable for damp or dry conditions and smooth or medium road surfaces (working temp 40-90 Deg C) D7 - A soft compound for use in damp conditions. W5 - A soft compound for use in damp or wet conditions on all tarmac road surfaces (working temp 20-80 Deg C)
