Bran (Dracula) Castle, Bear Sanctuary, Rasnov Fortress & Palinca Distillery

1. Observe many from the 123 brown bears of various ages hosted by the Sanctuary in Zarnesti (the biggest Bear Sanctuary in Europe). 2. Visit the famous Bran Castle which initially served as military defense fortification, then as customs point and ultimately as one of the summer residences of the Romanian royal family. It's a medieval castle with a royal touch, that's also linked to the Dracula legend. Besides touring the castle you also get free time for souvenirs in the bazaar at the footsteps of the landmark. 3. The Rasnov citadel was an important medieval fortification in Transylvania. It has a spectacular view of the Barsa Land. We'll visit the outside garden and the Rasnov letters on the hill! 4. Last but not least you can taste our traditional strong drink at a local Palinca distillery. Find out how plumbs, apricots, cherries, pears and other fruits are distilled and maturated! We return to Brasov in the afternoon!
