After years of working with some of the greatest drivers in the world, Carroll Smith explains how to best use their car to greater effect than the rest. The strength of this book lies in linking the role of the driver with insights into the engineering aspects of racing. It's not a book that aims to teach you how to drive fast (though there is lots to be learnt from reading in between the lines), nor is it a book for engineers, it provides some of the technical know how that some concentrating on driving lack.
