GORE-TEX Upper The boots have been created with a leather upper. The highly durable material protects itself from bumps and scrapes as well as your feet, providing a long-lasting pair of footwear. Not only this, but the upper has a GORE-TEX Invisible Fit membrane to supply your feet with constant protection when travelling on wet, muddy trails, therefore feet remain dry throughout your adventures. The boots remain highly breathable, the fabric towards the back is perforated, allowing cool air to circulate whilst releasing built-up heat to keep them cooler for longer. The boots have a mid-height ankle for a locked-in and stable fit, reducing ankle movement and the risk of injury. A toe bumper protects from trail debris while increasing the shoe's durability. A GAITERTRAP hook and loop tab connects a strapless gaiter to prevent debris ingress and unlike traditional gaiters, it stops mud from building beneath the shoe. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system which helps to lock the foot down to prevent excessive movement. Compression Moulded EVA Midsole The midsole has been created with an extremely resilient, ultralight foam. This foam is constructed from a firm CMEVA cushioning for a combined level of comfort and support. The CMEVA midsole offers maximum cushioning whilst maintaining a lightweight feel, perfect for the longest of runs, keeping you comfortable from the first mile to the last. The Original FootShape Fit gives a wider toe box that allows you to splay your toes for a more natural fit and feel when running on any surface. Vibram Megagrip Outsole Completing the Olympus 6 is a Vibram Megagrip outsole, a high-performance sticky rubber that provides exceptional grip and traction on any surface, whether dry or wet. The outsole also includes flex grooves, which increase traction and grip on varied surfaces by allowing your foot to move naturally, providing a larger surface area. The grooves have been cut out of the midsole to reduce overall weight and ensure traction when running. An all-new lug pattern provides increased grip and confidence even on the trickiest of trails.
