Vegan Jacquard Knit Upper The upper of the Clifton 10 has been constructed using a jacquard knit, which offers a great fit and increased breathability, with a reinforced toecap for protection. Not only is the fabric breathable, but it is also highly wicking, actively and efficiently removing sweat and moisture as it is created, leaving feet feeling cool, dry and comfortable even when training heats up. The fabric is made using 57% rPET and a 95% rPET lining for an eco-conscious choice. Perforations in the upper encourage cool air to circulate whilst built-up heat escapes, creating a cooler, drier environment for feet to thrive. For a secure fit, the shoes use a double-lace lock system to mitigate tongue migration, whilst the padded tongue sits comfortably against the skin for all-day wear and comfort. Completing the uppers are reflective elements that provide visibility in low-light conditions, allowing your child to remain safe and seen. CMEVA Midsole Smooth Meta-Rocker geometry has been added to increase running efficiency and create a smoother ride during running. The Meta-Rocker geometry has a low heel-toe differential and a sculpted outsole to create a unique fulcrum effect, like a rocking chair, encouraging a guided gait cycle. Supporting a runner's natural form while promoting an efficient, smooth roll from initial impact to toe-off allows your child to run for longer, as this slows fatigue. A platform of compression-moulded sugarcane EVA resides underfoot for lightweight, responsive cushioning.
