Mizuno has used a new last for this model compared to other shoes in the Momentum range. The shoes also use a half-bootie construction, making it easier to tighten the shoelaces and achieve a snug, foot-hugging fit. Designed with thicker padding, the shoe's opening offers a softer, more cushioned feel. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system which secures the midfoot to reduce excessive movement for a locked-in fit and feel. The shoes use an outrigger structure for stability, the sole extends outwards at the pinky toe area, offering extra support and stability, the inner side of the midfoot has an expanded contact area, providing additional stability during play.
