Product Description

Nobile 1942, Il Giardino delle Delizie Extrait de Parfum 75 ml, Unisex Floral Perfume. Nobile 1942 Il Giardino delle Delizie Extrait de Parfum is a unisex floral perfume. A fragrance that transports us to the "garden of earthly delights" immortalized by Hieronymus Bosch in the famous triptych exhibited at the El Prado Museum in Madrid. This work, considered a masterpiece of surrealism, is renowned for its complex symbolism, representing humanity with all its vices and perversions according to medieval Christian doctrine. In the outer panels, visible when the triptych is closed, one can see the creation of the world by God, represented as a transparent sphere. But it is in the opening of the triptych that the grandiose beauty of the work is revealed. The central panel, from which Il Giardino delle Delizie Extrait de Parfum draws its inspiration, depicts pleasures and love: exotic animals symbolize lust, while a myriad of nude figures, some immersed in erotic abandon, others still in chrysalis form, are nourished by birds carrying aphrodisiac fruits such as cherries and strawberries in their beaks. In the third panel, the scene turns into a demonic concert, where musical instruments become instruments of torture. This complex representation finds olfactory feedback in the contrasts in the triptych, offering a fragrance that captures the essence of human pleasures and perversions, revealing layers of sensuality and torment.
