The Kumho Ecsta V70A has been developed using Kumho's vast experience in many areas of motorsport (formula 3, sports car/production car racing, rallycross and rallying to name a few), with new sizes and compounds constantly being developed by their RD department. It is ideal for track days, circuit racing, sprints and hill climbs. It has already proved its credentials on the track thanks to being the control tyre for various one make series (Kumho BMW challenge and TVR Tasmin Challenge etc)The Ecsta V70A is DOT Approved and delivers excellent performance thanks to its advanced silica tread compound (available in super soft, soft, medium and hard compounds), which offers superior wet and dry traction and handling. An advanced directional tread design offers superior acceleration, braking and cornering and its large lateral and centre channels allow maximum water dispersion to maintain traction in shallow standing water or damp conditions.On the inside of the tyre, the V70A has two wide steel belts to provide excellent cornering power and a stable footprint, whilst two durable nylon plies give excellent high speed stability and resistance to centrifugal forces.E-Marked (for road use)MSA List 1C approved
