Constructed from only the finest quality components, every intake system undergoes a barrage of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis, including volumetric airflow, intake temperature and dyno testing, to ensure accurate performance figures are achieved.This system uses Eventuri's sealed carbon fibre airbox, which provides an aerodynamically efficient airflow path from the filter to the turbo inlet tube. The airbox comprises a high-flow dry cone filter, a rubber-sealed cowl that provides a smooth airflow entry and prevents heat ingress and the redesigned dual intake carbon airbox/pod itself.This Eventuri intake system utilises a dry cone air filter element that is designed to give much smoother airflow, whilst eliminating stagnation points and achieving filtration levels in line with ISO and OE standards. Constructed from a dual-layer non-woven mesh and a urethane base material, the filter is cleanable and stable at very high temperatures. The filter medium has a significantly larger surface volume than the stock panel filter.The Eventuri engineers identified that a sealed system, although provided excellent protection against heat ingress, suffered from a lack of cold air feed, due to the single intake restriction of the OE-designed airbox. For this reason, the Eventuri airbox was redesigned to accommodate dual air intake feeds, one from the front bumper as per the OE design and the second from a gap between the wheel arch and the chassis on which the airbox sits. The Oversized carbon fibre turbo intake tube increases the volume and flow of air to the turbo, removing restrictions from the OE pipework. The addition of a CNC-machined breather adaptor and temperature sensor mount completes the connection to the OE pipework and electronics to maintain engine management requirements. Once the car is in motion, specially designed edge rubbers maintain a secure and sealed connection to provide an enhanced airflow, that effectively forces air into the duct and displaces any ingress of hot air from the engine bay.The OE filter and factory-fitted airbox systems create a more turbulent airflow due to the mating of a rectangular air filter/airbox system to a round turbo inlet.
