The electronic fuel cut defender from Turbosmart alters the output of a factory air flow meter by a simple adjuster to accurately raise the factory fuel cut point without damaging the engine.Most late model cars have built in defence mechanisms to guard against increases in boost pressure which can signal problems on standard cars. Such systems are important but can be an obstacle for tuners when increasing boost pressure. A Turbosmart fuel cut defender will allow boost pressure to be increased above the factory level and prevent momentary shutdown of the fuel injection system.
