A Black Diamond 'KVR' Stage 2 Clutch Kit is recommended for fast road/competition applications with up to 30% increase in torque above standard. The hard-wearing Kev-Tec (Aramid Fibre) compound provides higher temperature performance and increased boot performance over Stage 1 clutch kits.Deals with up to 30% increase in torque above standardLight-weight Aramid Kev-TEC compound for higher temperature performance.The stage 2 Kev-TEC clutch is manufactured using Aramid fibre technology similar in performance to Kevlar, which provides an extremely hard but lightweight compound capable of dealing with the high clamping pressure of stage 2 clutch springs, higher friction forces and increased temperatures associated with competition driving making this ideal for track use.Due to the increased hardness of this friction material it is recommended that a 600-mile gentle breaking in period is followed in order to achieve maximum performance and a flywheel inspection for dishing or imperfections is completed prior to fitting in order to avoid possible friction loss issues.
