These Cerametallic Paddle Clutch Plates from Helix are available in either sprung or rigid hub designs. A rigid hub is designed for more demanding working conditions which require high strength and durability. A Sprung centre of the drive plate provides some protection against drive line shock, minimising the chances of a failure. The cerametallic friction material is split into sections which are riveted on to the drive plate and are thicker than sintered drive plates. This provides a higher heat soak capacity and better heat dissipation. This type of material is mainly used in rally applications.There is a wide range of spline sizes available to suit most applications.
