Eventuri's patented venturi stack housing and custom intake designs ensure that airflow remains as laminar as possible at all times. Combined with bespoke high-flow filters and vehicle-specific cold air feed/ducts, you get a fully optimised intake system that operates with the lowest inlet air temperatures possible and consistently delivers noticeable performance gains.At first glance, it's obvious Eventuri intakes are different from the standard filter, intake pipe and heat shield combinations, offered by other aftermarket intake system makers.Based on their extensive tuning and aeronautics background, the engineers at Eventuri are raising the standards for intake design and development. Focused on a complete solution, each vehicle-specific intake system is extensively developed using cutting-edge design, testing, and prototyping methods. Constructed from only the finest quality components, every intake system undergoes a barrage of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis, including volumetric airflow, intake temperature and dyno testing, to ensure accurate performance figures are achieved.This system uses Eventuri's patent pending Venturi housing which provides an aerodynamically efficient airflow path from the filter to the turbo tube. The filter housing comprises a high-flow filter, aluminium cowl, laser cut bracket and the housing pod itself. The CNC machined aluminium MAF tube completes the connection to the OE intake pipe and ensures a direct fit for the OE sensor that minimises heat soak and perfectly seals to the stock elbow. Eventuri's ground-breaking design utilises a reverse-mounted cone filter that is decoupled from the intake pipe, giving a much smoother airflow, and eliminating the abrupt internal geometry changes found in conventional cone filter/pipe setups. The smooth reduction in cross-sectional area invokes the Venturi effect where the airflow accelerates whilst maintaining laminar conditions. This improved design allows the whole filter housing to act as a velocity stack, increasing the volume and speed of air entering the turbo, which directly translates to better engine performance.The Eventuri engineers identified that the OE duct only draws air from the front grill and is very shallow over the slam panel which can easily lead to heat soak. The new ducting was fully redesigned to increase the internal volume and draw additional air from the bonnet scoop. The final part of the intake is the redesigned carbon fibre bonnet scoop. The engineers realised they could utilise the existing bonnet cutouts to create dual ramps to direct air smoothly into the ducting below when the bonnet is closed. Once the car is in motion, water drain points and specially designed edge rubbers maintain a secure and sealed connection to provide an enhanced airflow, that effectively forces air into the filters and displaces any ingress of hot air from the engine bay.The OE filter and factory-fitted airbox systems create a more turbulent airflow due to the mating of a rectangular air filter/airbox system to a round turbo inlet.
