Competition Clutch's Organic MPC Ceramic Clutch Kit is their highest capacity multi-plate clutch. Utilising high capacity cerametallic drive plates, a chromoly steel flywheel, and a chromoly steel cover assembly , this kit is intended to offer much enhanced torque capacity without too heavy a clutch pedal. A Competition Clutch MPC Ceramic Clutch Kit offers hugely increased torque capacity with a light pedal action.Thw use of two ceramic drive plates gives this clutch a vastly (up to 300% in some cases) increased torque capacity. Cerametallic drive plate material gives a much more aggressive and positive engagement, perfect for driving on track.Because much of the higher torque rating comes from combining two drive plates, the clutch doesn't have to be sprung overly stiff. The cover assembly is machined from steel, for strength.Also included is one of competition clutch's lightweight flywheels. Precision machined from 4140 Chromoly steel, these are hard-wearing and durable. The lightweight range retain a sensible amount of mass in the flywheel. Enough is shaved off to improve shifting characteristics and make the engine zingier, but not enough to make the car difficult to drive at low speeds.
