Designed to keep the heat of the turbo away from the rest of the engine, this wraps around the turbo and keeps the heat in.The flexible design means that it can accomodate a range of popular turbos. This turbo blanket is designed to fit the large GReddy T78/88 & Garret T6 Turbochargers.Forge built this to stand up to the demands of motorsport and it's extremely well made. The outer is carbon fabric. The core is made of calcium magnesium silicate wool with a silica fabric inner liner. The inner surface can stand temperatures up to 1260 degrees celcius for short periods of time and sustained temperatures of 1000 degrees.The fabric used is flexible (until it is cured by heat) so this will potentially fit a wide range of applications. Once fitted, the heat from the turbo will cure it into shape and Forge don't recommend removing it.
