Laser 8332 M20 x 1.5mm Thread Chaser Ford Fuel Vaporiser DPF

Ford EcoBlue diesel engines use a fuel vapouriser in their exhaust system just upstream of the diesel particulate filter (DPF) which is there to improve the DPF regeneration process. We started to receive reports that these vaporiser units can get blocked, causing regeneration failures and dpf issues. This prompted Laser tools to design the now well-established dpf fuel vaporiser spanner, part no.8100, which makes removal of the vaporiser a much simpler affair. Thanks to feedback from our customers we have also discovered that removal of the vaporiser often results in thread damage so we have also introduced this thread chaser specifically for the exhaust vapouriser used by Ford.
