AIM MX UTV Dash Logger With Belt Temperature Sensor

The Aim Motorsport MX UTV Dash Logger has been designed to be installed into UTV (utility terrain vehicles) type vehicles. The GPS receiver in the dash has been tuned specifically for the UTV vehicle, designed to cope with all the vibrations, direction changes and all the lateral and longitudinal accelerations that is thrown at it. To compute lap times, the UTV Dash Logger uses GPS and Glonass data to the precision of 1/100 second. If the track you are on is already included in the MX UTV database, it will automatically recognise the track, locating the start / finish line position.Integrated GPS: The system takes advantage from an internal wide track database, in order to automatically understand at which track you are at, where and how many are the magnetic strips: without any further sensor or configuration you will automatically get lap times, predictive lap times and split times. GPS data, acquired ten times per second, are of course recorded with other signals in the internal data logger, in order to offer the possibility of a deeper analysis of your performanceRobust housing: The new nylon chassis with metallic push buttons guarantee even more resistance to shocks and waterWide display with 7 configurable backlight colours: More data requires more space for looking at it. The anti-scratch, non-reflecting polycarbonate screen, along with the ambient light sensor ensure great visibility in all conditions. The backlight switches on automatically in low light conditionsShift Light and Alarm LED's: Five RGB shift lights can be configured for each gear, choosing LED colour and RPM threshold values which will turn them on/off. They also allow RPM monitoring in a glance. Even alarms are managed in a very flexible way: you choose the situation that generates the alarm, the LED behaviour (blinking frequency and colour) when the alarm appears and the conditions for its switch-offWiFi connection: Download your data to your PC, look at the OnLine measures, upgrade your firmware, transmit parameters using the fast WiFi connectionThe UTV Dash Logger features a single temperature input which is for the included belt sensor. If your UTV vehicle features a Yamaha ECU then it likely not belt driven, so the analogue input can instead be connected to a temperature or pressure sensor.Connecting the MX UTV to your ECU is very simple. Also built into the Dash Logger is a light sensor, this automatically switches the back light on with low light conditions. Above the display screen are 5 configurable shift lights, these can be used to indicate when you need to up shift, or alternatively you can set these up to indicate the real time gap between your best lap of the session and your current lap. On either sides of the shift lights are two LED alarm indicators.
