Tillett B3.5 Seat - GRP, Black

The Tillett B3.5 is a thin ultra lightweight shell seat based around the B4 but designed to fit in the narrowest of vehicles making it ideal for sports prototypes or formula cars. By using this light flexible shell it is possible to use the seat in vehicles where the vast majority of sports/race seats would simply not fit. The belt holes in the B3.5 allow a full racing harness to be used, a 5 or 6 point harness is recommended on a reclined seat. The B3.5 seat is also fully compatible with FHR devices. The shape of the seat has been designed for optimum support with high levels of comfort even when used without padding. Because the seat is designed for a close fit the driver feels more connected to the chassis with increased feedback.Due to its very thin and light single skin construction this seat needs to be used in a vehicle where the seat can be supported high up on the sides and at the headrest. This can be either from the vehicle itself, if it has a roll bar and bulkhead, or from a custom made metal support frame. The B3.5 seat is NOT compatible with traditional side mounts.The Tillett B3.5 seat is supplied with a Dinamica trimmed headrest panel. A 2 piece Dinamica trimmed panel set is available to purchase separately if required.
