The Decibel Slayer - Exhaust DB reducer insert is designed to be a removable baffle for your tail pipe acting like a silencer.It works on round or oval tail pipes by simply bolting down onto the tail pipe. No drilling of the tail pipe is required like other types on the market, meaning this is a discreet solution that can be removed easily. The Decibel Slayer has 4 studs that hold it on with a friction fit. No modification is necessary when using the Decibel Slayer, simply bolt on and enjoy your track day. No unsightly and awkward clamps!Originally designed for the Britcar Series to combat the ever increasing noise limits, the Decibel Slayer is designed and manufactured here in the UK by a top level motorsport exhaust specialist (supplier to the former WRC Team MINI and much more). They looked at other over engineered items on the market and realised there is no need to have noise baffling material, the noise reduction properties of a correctly acoustically engineered perforated tube being adequate. This intelligent design means that the perforated tube which penetrates the tail pipe has an optimised length to leave exhaust gas flow unrestricted. Therefore using Decibel Slayer will have a negligible effect on your power output.Designed to fit from 2" to 4" diameter pipes.
