HKS SQV4 Sequential Blow Off Valve

HKS Super Sequential Blow Off Valve utilises a distinctive design intended to allow the valve to function smoothly over a wide range of operating conditions and boost levels.The Valve itself is constructed from high quality die-cast aluminium. This valve cuts an iconic profile too. The internals are built tough to withstand the pressure of very highly tuned engines.The HKS SSQV uses pull type operation. This means that unlike push type valves, the pressure of boost from the turbo holds the valve closed until it's intended to operate. This means the valve works correctly from low-boost all the way to very high boost on tuned engines.Sequential in the name comes from the valves two-stage opening mechanism. The valve can open a little or a lot depending on the amount of pressure that requires venting.These features taken together mean one valve can do it all.The iconic noise the valve makes can also be fine-tuned. The stock noise is the result of the three finned insert. An alternative round insert is also available.
