You’ll have free time here to enjoy lunch explore the town centre or simply relax before we continue to Glenfinnan. Duration: 1 hour Stop At: Ben Nevis Fort William From the Fort William area there are views of Ben Nevis the highest mountain in the United Kingdom. Weather permitting you’ll have the opportunity to take photos and admire the surrounding mountain scenery. Duration: 20 minutes Stop At: Glenfinnan Viaduct Glenfinnan Lodge A830 Rd Glenfinnan The Glenfinnan Viaduct is one of the most iconic landmarks in the Highlands. You’ll have time to walk to the viewpoint overlooking the viaduct and Loch Shiel. The viaduct is well known for its appearance in the Harry Potter films. If timings align you may see the Jacobite Steam Train crossing the bridge (train schedule subject to availability). Duration: 25 minutes Stop At: Neptune's Staircase Banavie Neptune’s Staircase is a series of canal locks on the Caledonian Canal near Fort William. We make a short stop here to view this impressive piece of engineering and take photos before continuing the journey.
