Touw River Boat Cruise - Wilderness National Park

A unique boat cruise in our aluminium safari boats. Starting from the jetty at Tarentaal Day Visitor area in Ebb & Flow South of Wilderness Rest Camp. We take a scenic voyage down the Touw River through reed lined wetlands to the lagoon and village, passing historic hotels, guest houses an bridge and luxury homes along the river. We return up the river past Ebb & Flow and into the steeply forested valley. One can see magnificent Yellowwood, Milkwood, Cape Chestnut and other indigenous trees. We encounter a variety of birds such as, Turacos, Kingfishers, Coots, Ducks, Geese, Cormorants , Fish Eagles, Grebes and more. A chance to see Baboons, Monkeys, Bushbuck, Otters and more. All our users must have a valid day permit as we operate with a concession contract with SANParks within Wilderness National Park.
