Lovely walk aprox 2.5ml with my 4yr old granddaughter. A little wet underfoot in places but lots of resting places for old granny to have a rest. Will definitely come into it's own in a few weeks with bluebells, birds and lambs to entertain. For the less active the hides can be reached with less walking as different places to park.

A splendid nature reserve and wetlands. Reasonable sized car park. No loos. Well established and well populated reserve. Varied terrain including brook, lakes and meadow. Lots of birds, the usual culprits.... herons, pheasants etc. Hides and bench seating. Really enjoyed this wetlands and shall be returning. Only thing to mar it was the couple walking their 2 dogs about 6 - 6.15 pm. Both dogs off leads, not responding to recall. Old enough folk to be able to read the signs. Why visit a nesting bird sanctuary to have your two dogs running amok. Grrrr. You know who you were!
