Kay and David have run the Ashfield Farmhouse bed and breakfast for the last twenty years and have welcomed guests from all corners of the world. We have extensive knowledge of the East Riding of Yorkshire and will try and persuade you to extend your stay as there is much to see, learn and do in the area.
Children are more than welcome at our bed and breakfast, and for those sharing with parents there is the bonus of having a child’s discount. We are very willing to pick up walkers on the Wolds Way, Minster Way or Chalklands Way and then deliver you back the next day to continue your walk. We have drying facilities and with prior knowledge we can make you a pack up. Over the years we have had many cyclists and they have always been pleased to find that we have a secure cycle shed for their usage. We also have ample parking for the less energetic!

The breakfast meal includes orange juice, choice of cereal, as well as a hearty full English, including two locally produced sausages, two slices of bacon, tomato, mushrooms and local farm eggs all accompanied with toast and marmalade, tea or coffee. This is not just any breakfast – but an Ashfield Farmhouse breakfast!
As an alternative, we serve a lighter breakfast of orange juice, choice of cereal, yoghurt and fresh fruit, again with toast and marmalade, tea or coffee. Or scrambled eggs for a change. We are only too pleased to cater for any tastes or special diets.
The Pocklington area has many excellent hostelries and there are several taxi companies for visitors to use.
