Brilliant little place. Great vibe, excellent helpful staff, fabulous coffee, brilliant bagels. Highly recommended if you find yourself in Middlesbrough.
It was my first visit today and I only came because the alkaline cafe was closed. However this was a blessing in disguise. The Mexican beef bagel and chai tea latte were amazing. I was visiting home from Oslo and they have nothing like this. The flavours were fantastic and staff very knowledgeable and innovative. I feel their ideas are cutting edge and authentic to tradition seamlessly. The vibe felt like home to me with an alternative, open creative types. I’m so proud that the owners are bringing such authentic, tasty, healthy food to a part of the country in which is lacking and often neglected. I wish them luck and prosperity for the future.
Easily the best cafe in Middlesbrough! Staff are incredible, food is just as good and consistent every time we visit. Delicious and extremely affordable given the quality.
An absolute gem of a coffee shop. The town is lucky to have it. It's a vibrant cool hub, full of great coffee and tasty treats. Their bagels are unreal, as is all the food we've had over the years. So fresh and high quality. The team are fantastic, always friendly, and always accommodating for children when we've visited as a family.
Whenever I saw the cafe from afar I wondered if only students are allowed or is it a study space. I gave it a visit today and man I spent really good couple hours. Though a bit busy the space is calm and filled with work or quite time type of energy. Staff and food is good too, not many options though but whatever they provide is simple and good. I tried dark hot chocolate with brownie and later got a Halloumi bagel. First the hot chocolate was just perfect. Some places make it quite hot and one I had here is my second favourite yet! It was creamy and warm. The bagel was nice for some reason. Can’t rate it as I had bagel and halloumi for the first time 😭
