About the Company Are you passionate about supporting children and young people in Middlesbrough? We are looking for a dedicated Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team in a small, nurturing home for children who cannot currently live with their families. About the Role As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care that meets the physical, emotional, social, and developmental needs of children with complex emotional and behavioural challenges, mental health disorders, and additional needs. You'll be part of a team committed to therapeutic approaches and restorative practices, helping children thrive in a safe and supportive environment. Responsibilities Provide high-quality care to children. Meet the physical, emotional, social, and developmental needs of children. Support children with complex emotional and behavioural challenges. Implement therapeutic approaches and restorative practices. Qualifications QCF Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to undertake). Required Skills Experience working with children and young people. Understanding of child development and challenging behaviour. Positive attitude and ability to build relationships. Willingness to work unsocial hours including weekends, nights, and bank holidays. Driver with access to own vehicle Preferred Skills None specified.
