I went to ask for help with problems online opening a new student account and they got me a booking with Andrew to help within half an hour. He was polite and extremely helpful with all my inquiries and got me set up with a new account and new cards within another half hour. Amazing speedy helpful service with great benefits on banking.
Great bank and service, I just wish the customer service over the phone was truthful. I had no money to get train here, my local hsbc closed so I needed to ride my bike from hartlepool. I was told over the phone it would be a 2 minute process, but I wasn't informed I would have to wait 2 hours. No money for food or water. The staff here was sympathetic and gave me some water. The actual process was fast once I could be seen.
Joe was very supportive and helpful in helping me submitting a request of disrupting a transaction. He helped me fill in the requested form, and answered all questions in details I asked. I am very happy with the services that have been provided to me.
Spoke to Lyndsey today (8/8/25) at HSBC Middlesbrough to discuss various options regarding my finances. Lyndsey was very friendly and approachable and her advice and help were excellent. I was very happy with the outcome of my visit. Many thanks
