Earliest booking was my 30th Birthday. Booked in, arrived and I was super busy that day, car was still sat waiting in the car park on a tyre change over 10 minutes after appointment time even though I arrived early. Had to cancel after I was fuming and couldn’t contain myself any longer. Safe to say after that I haven’t returned and since take my vehicles elsewhere!

Today I had four Goodyear tyres fitted by Nathan. I hate taking my car to garages as I always seem to be able to find some fault with their work. My OCD goes into overdrive when it comes to having tyres fitted as so many times they manage to scrape or scuff the alloy wheel through carelessness. Well today Nathan was a credit to Kwik Fit. The entire garage working environment had a feeling of peace to it, nobody rushing about like a headless chicken and rushing things. Nathan fitted all 4 new tyres and when I got home I’ve cleaned & inspected the car and can not critique his work at all. There isn’t a single blemish or scuff on any of my wheels. Nor were the new tyres smeared with that white grease they use when fitting them. For somebody who is so fussy over his car, me saying I’d happily let Nathan work on it again is the biggest praise there is. *update* I spoke too soon. The following day I had to return as my wheels weren’t balanced properly and the car was vibrating at 70mph. This was an inconvenience to me and messed up my day. My praise about Nathan still stands as I didn’t see who balanced my wheels. However it has changed the whole experience from a positive one to a negative one.

I came in unplanned today with an issue in connection with the sensor for tyre pressure that was looked at about a month ago and if re-occured to call back in. Today was that day and from the moment I came into Rick and Ryan (I think I got the names correct) were nothing short of brilliant and deserve 10 stars if could have given them. They are both a massive credit to themselves and the company and people like them are the reason I will keep coming back to Kwik Fit I also saw a woman with a nail in the centre of her tyre a few days ago and immediately suggested Kwik Fit to sort it out and this seems even more justified after today's visit. Top lads both of you and see you for MOT in September. Appreciate all of your help and advice and also being decent people. Rare thing these days but credit where credit is due. Thanks again - Benn

This is my second visit to this Kwik Fit. My first visit was fantastic, the guys were professional and honest. I usually go to a different garage, but since I had a good experience two weeks ago at this Kwik Fit, I sent my other car over for an ABS sensor & air con diagnosis today. I wasn't impressed with the young guy in an olive-coloured Adidas tracksuit: He was at the reception and didn't know what I was asking for & wasn't friendly at all when I dropped the car off. Eventually, another technician came over to discuss the pricing and explained how they would perform the diagnosis professionally. An hour later, I received a call from Kwik Fit stating that they were unable to find the fault code for my car's ABS error. They wouldn't charge me for the diagnosis and said my car was ready for pickup. I think that was fair. Later in the afternoon, I returned to the reception to collect my car. There was no staff around when I arrived, so I stood in front of the reception desk to wait for someone to come around. A couple of minutes later, the young staff member, wearing an olive-coloured Adidas tracksuit, as I mentioned earlier, came in to call the other customer into the workshop, but completely ignored me, not even acknowledging that I was there. I waited another minute or two before he came to the desk. I told him I was here to pick up my car, and he just handed me the key without saying a word. He mentioned nothing about the air conditioning, so I assumed they hadn't done anything with my air conditioning, and he didn't even apologise that the ABS error code diagnosis had failed. He just handed me the key, and looked at me like I was wasting his time. Afterwards, I discovered the guys disconnected my OBD-powered dashcam and didn't even bother plugging it back in. I understand that Kwik Fit had a technical limitation, but if the staff could provide basic customer service, I wouldn't feel like I was completely wasting my time sending my car here today. Will I return to this Kwik Fit? Unlikely.

Excellent service on a Sunday morning! My car was looked at and fixed within 20 minutes. Nathan took the time to explain the issue and fix (loose heat shield secured and jubilee clip replaced), and didn't charge me anything! Will definitely come here again next time I have an issue with my car.
