Went today after suffering with upper back pain for the past year. Paul knew exactly what was wrong within the first 30 seconds. Although the treatment hurts, I have walked out of there feeling about 10 years younger with a spring in my step. Paul came highly recommended and I am really glad that I went today. Andrea is also really lovely and welcoming. Felt completely comfortable. Could not recommend enough 10/10
I’m genuinely lost for words on my experience! After limping all day due to my sciatica, I decided to try my first massage with Paul. I went in for a lower body massage and ended up getting a full body massage. After my massage I felt like I could walk normally and my pain had eased massively! Paul is an absolute gent and I’d recommend a massage from him 100%. If I could give higher than 5 stars, I would!
I wasn't going to leave this feedback, but I feel like I need to make you aware of my experience. Yes, Paul is a lovely guy and Andrea is a lovely and welcoming lady but this feedback needs to happen. I visited this place 7months ago, for a tight muscle in my shoulder. Paul used the machine on my shoulder and used it on my cervical spine, which I didn't have issues with at the time. Paul couldn't get the knot out of my shoulder, but repeatedly used the machine on my cervical spine. I still had to pay even though the treatment didn't work and I was still in pain when I left. I told Paul this, but he said, "Do your exercises to loosen your muscle." £50 down and in more pain than before. The next day I couldn't move or twist my neck. I was going to go back to Paul, but I thought I needed to see my doctors. Cut a long story short, after months of going back and forth to the doctors, being given pain meds, being seen by the spinal team, and being sent for an MRI on my cervical spine. My cervical spine is (well will let you guess that word). MRI has shown this. No issues beforehand with my cervical spine. Until the day after I had treatment on my shoulder. Was told NO machine should be used on your cervical spine or even on your spine. I'm now on the waiting list to have injections in my neck due to the damage caused and to help manage my pain. I'm only young and now I have to live with this for the rest of my life. Think twice about booking in, do your research on other places first because there are other treatments out there.
I really cannot express enough just how fantastic this place is. Made to feel welcome by Andria as soon as I walked through the door, very polite, pleasant and friendly, made feel at ease straight away. Then there is the man himself, Paul. He is a genius, simple as that. Pinpointed the problem I had with my hip along with other issues from the way I slept which attributed to issue with both shoulders, the position I sat and even pinpointed a problem from when I sprained my ankle over 20 years ago. Paul told me that my hips were not aligned correctly and I couldn't believe when he actually showed how far out they were, taking into account Paul has complete loss of sight and senses by touch which is incredible. Paul re-aligned my hip into place which I actually felt move back into place. After my treatment I could instantly feel the difference from top to bottom. I simply can't thank Paul enough and believe me when I say he is the type of person that deserves a knighthood. I 100% recommend Paul for physio treatment as it'll be the best money you'll spend to help with physical issues & I only wish I'd found him years ago. If I ever have any more issues in the future, I know who to see as it certainly won't be the physio at my GP practice or any other NHS service. Once again thank you so much to Andria & Paul, 5 stars all round, 10/10.
I visited the clinic recently after having lower back issues for 4 months. After being escorted into the treatment room I was asked to remove all my clothes, apart from my shorts and lie on a treatment bed. I was then smothered in oil. Paul advised me my hip was “out” and that there was a problem with my feet that was also causing my pain in my back. I thought this unusual because if my hip was out surely that’s a job for the hospital. He talked very fast and came out with some very long words regarding my issue which I didn’t have time to take in. Paul turned on a machine and proceeded to use this toes to shoulder vigorously. He stopped occasionally to tell me that patients usually gave an extra sum of money and this went towards a charity he was supporting. After 15 minutes or so he asked me to step on another machine which vibrated at a fast speed, for a minute or so. He then stated that the job was done and in conjunction with a couple of stretching exercises I’d be a lot better. In truth I wasn’t. The pain is still there, exactly the same as before the treatment if not slightly worse. What I didn’t understand was; I was never asked about my particular symptoms and what movement affected the pain. I was never asked the history of my pain. I was never asked regarding any GP treatments or any treatments I was taking myself. It was basically switch the machines on, and go. When it finished Paul left the room and I was basically stood there, covered in oil and no paper towels to wipe myself down. Luckily I found a used towel that I used to wipe myself down with before I put my clothes back on. All in all a bizarre experience and £50 down the drain. I would recommend visiting your GP (if you can get in) first, especially for lower back pain. It’s something I should have done in hindsight. Paul is a friendly guy but I surmised that his estimation regarding my hip being out and my feet also causing my issues was just guesswork at best.
