Convenient parking for town centre - one or two hours, fee redeemable if you spend £10 in store.
Silly recent revamp of the pumps. Badly thought out design causing frustration on the forecourt. Why would you remove half your pumps and replace them with ones that don't even reach to the other side of the car? Also you have to pull so far forward other cars can't get past while you refuel. I guess this design was done at sainsburys HQ in London by an inexperienced student who has never even been north of the M25 let alone visit the site. Apart from that I would rate the staff and all other facilities 5 stars.
The petrol station has been updated but this is not an improvement. The number of fuel dispensers have reduced and been moved towards the kiosk leaving little room for manoeuvre with our people carrier and fewer filling points. It feels badly designed and means I'm less likely to shop at sainsburys as i used to come for furl at the same time. I just go somewhere else better designed now, unless im desparate. The kiosk shop carries a reasonable range of everyday items.
Never use again. Lady behind the till having a go at a person for using his key ring to keep the pump going to fill his van the man had a clear disability with his hands.
Can't fault the staff. Why change the petrol pumps to single ones? Also, why don't they stop the free air unless you buy petrol. Issue a token for the machine. It would stop the taxi drivers from just using it, then when finished, just letting the hoses spring back and breaking the machine.
