Very cool and helpful staff. I've sold some stuff, bought some stuff. When selling/buying things they give pretty fair prices and they're happy to answer any questions. :)

Do not shop here. Bought a laptop, briefly seemed fine then died, they ganged up on me (having a chat with one and another very rudely interrupting) me possibly because I’m trans and vulnerable with all my health conditions (Autism, epilepsy, etc) they took advantage; they would not honour their warranty, so if you do buy from them, know that you won’t get a replacement or refund if something goes wrong, they would not accept my timeline of events and I even phoned my mother to get her to tell them I’m telling the truth. They were very funny and have DEFRAUDED me out of £180. Admittedly because of the way they acted (wouldn’t even let me press on photos and touch their phone to review - dodgy. Admittedly I said some things I shouldn’t have. But wouldn’t you when you’re being swindled? DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. re: Their reply, I never altered my story regarding "when" it happened, and freely admit on both reviews that due to the awful treatment I received that I was angry, and said things that I shouldn't. My reviews are honest. Do not, buy, from them - unless you expect nothing to *ever* happen to said item. e.g. if it was a hammer, that's kind of hard to break (of it's own accord and even in use, if it's electronic however, it might break) And also, yes it did take me a long time to get to Middlesbrough (where I hardly visit) and sort out. I thought this was a decent company and would honor an agreement as long as I told it as it happened. Nope. They take advantage of the vulnerable. There was no accidental damage, just intentional neglect from a bad company (or store, not necessarily all of their stores, obviously.) Again, I'm not saying all TB stores are like this one, some may have lovely staff and an ounce of belief; however it may be wise to steer clear regardless. As for the jibe about me being probably "over 40", they have my DOB on file so I know this is just a slur. I am rolling my eyes. And if you want to make me sound like an adult, but act like a child: perhaps diversity training on issues like Autism would help your staff. That is a serious recommendation. ps. I did not try to "grab" the phone but did want it handed over so I could properly review the evidence, zoom in on the photos and scroll through them. You did NOT offer to open it up in front of me, that is literally an outright lie. I cannot believe a company behaving like this. I [do not] wonder why Indeed has 3 employee reviews all being 1 star.

Do not shop here, the staff were very rude, cheeky, so I admittedly became angry when asking for a repair, refund or exchange of the following:. I bought a lovely laptop from there, well, it seemed lovely. Not long after buying it, it died through no fault of my own. They sent it to a repair shop which indicated potential water damage (though I think the power circuit was damaged) which despite my, and my mothers absolute honesty that water had not been spilled over it, as they hypothesised, would not exchange or refund at all even though it was guaranteed, as long as it wasn’t accidental damage and there was none. In fact the laptop is visibly pristine on the outside because I really look after my things. Having a conversation with one staff member another butted in being very cheeky indeed. _Ganging up_ on a vulnerable, alone trans person with Autism, Epilepsy, depression etc. Maybe they don’t like people that are trans, I don’t know. But I do know they have DEFRAUDED me out of £180 and I cannot work due to my many, many conditions so that is a lot of money to me. They stuck to a lie that I’d damaged it. They even said it would’ve broke much sooner if it was pre-existing damage and it was soon after I had got it, about 4 to 6 weeks ago. I was gutted and they used the fact I hadn’t phoned in or acted on it immediately but maybe, just maybe my conditions and the depressed state I was in when it happened meant it took a while to get around to, I don’t live in Middlesbrough and only go on rare occasions. Angry at my treatment I said I would never ever shop there again and frankly, I said some things I probably shouldn’t have, but wouldn’t you, if you were being defrauded for £180? I couldn’t even look at the pictures because the staff member refused to hand the phone over to look which I thought a bit daft. When I called my mother so she could tell them that I’m telling the truth I happily passed over/put my phone near them, and it’s a far more expensive one. So dodgy that lot.
